NEW Cibales Café: A Puertorrican Coffeehouse
Grand Opening: January 29th 2009, 10am
The heart of San Juan's banking district can now rely on the best coffee Puerto Rico has to offer in Cibales Café. The coffee house is set to open on January 30th, 2009. Cibales Café will be located in the lobby of the AEELA Building on Ponce De León Avenue. Conveniently located close to a mass transit stop for the local Tren Urbano, the south end of the famous Golden Mile now serves black gold: Puerto Rican Coffee from Cibales.
Coffee sold at Cibales Café is 100% Puerto Rican coffee, harvested
by local farmers. The beans are processed in a common plant in
Ciales, packaged commercially, sold in stores and online and finally
served to the individual client at Cibales Café, the coffee house. The coffee shop is the latest entrepreneurial venture for the farmers' marketing cooperative, Cooperativa AgroComercial.
Great care went into the conceptualization and design of the coffee house. Renowned local architectural firm, Amador & Calzada was hired to create a space that captured the spirit of our coffee with an elegant atmosphere and a modern design.
